I'm renewed as a Microsoft MVP for 2025-2026!

It's the middle of July, and I'm on summer vacation, yet I'm still casually checking my inbox for that email. Each year, a few thousand people eagerly await news of a possible Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) renewal. This coincides with the start of the Microsoft fiscal year, so a significant amount of activity is ongoing simultaneously.
I'm renewed! I'm delighted. This is my 11th year as a Microsoft MVP, and for those of you keeping count, why isn't it the 12th? Well, if you work for Microsoft for one calendar year, it turns out you'll have to reapply and get re-nominated for the program.
I started back in 2013 or 2014 (I can't recall, it feels like a few decades ago), and my award category initially was SharePoint. I've since moved to Office 365 and then to Microsoft Azure. For the past several years, I've been awarded in the Security category.
This year, I'm a dual MVP - Security Copilot and Identity & Access! It's going to be a hectic 12 months ahead working in these areas.
Thank you, everyone, for the ongoing support, and especially to the Microsoft and MVP communities around the world!
