I had the opportunity and pleasure to present at SharePoint Saturday Dubai 2016 this past weekend. This was also the first international event of the year for me. I’ve never had a chance to visit Dubai so it was a great to visit the warmer climates of UAE for an extended weekend.
My presentation topic was a deep dive on SharePoint 2016 architectures. Overall I think it went really well, and I always enjoy when I get to present fresh content, rather than talk about the past. SharePoint 2016 Release Candidate was released just recently so there is plenty to learn and share.
After Saturday’s sessions and speaker dinner, we hooked up with a friend of mine and spent the better part of the day roaming the sand dunes with a 4×4 Jeep. I can definitely recommend anyone visiting that corner of the world to spend the sunny hours driving around the desert!
Now, back in slushy Helsinki it’s time to concentrate on the upcoming months – hope to see many of you in future events!
